When you have an approved blog post, news article, product page or other text make a draft on production. When doing so make sure you go through these steps in order to not forget anything.
- Create a draft on production
- Make sure that you are on the correct language version. Swedish is default so if you have written the text in English then switch to the English language version.

- Add ALT text to your images explaining what is shown.
- Include teaser text and image if different to the main content.
- Add meta title and description which should be a summary of the page.
- Meta titles should be around 60 characters
- Meta descriptions should be around 160 characters

- Tip! Use Pineberry's SEO tool if you find this challenging https://www.pineberry.com/titel-meta-optimeraren/
- Add blocks with related information, contact details or other CTAs so that your page is not a dead end. Link to pages that are relevant or related.
- Ask a colleague to spell check your page.
- If writing in English use lower case letters in headings (eg This is a heading)
- Ask Linus or other person in management for approval.
- Inform the product owner Annika. She will publish the page
- You are all done. Great job!
There are a few more steps that will be taken care of by Annika or web editors. This involves translating the page and sharing in social media. These bullets are for them.
- Create a translation using AI Assistant or Optimizely's translation plug-in.
-

- If using Optimizely make sure that the page heading and URL has been translated correctly and the å, ä, ö is not replaced by numbers. URLs should always be in lowercase.

- Proofread the text before publishing. This is important because the tools are not very good at Swedish in particular.
-
- When the page is live check that links are not broken.
- Share the post on LinkedIn.
